Liselotte Westerterp (Utrecht, NIZ/NL)

Liselotte Westerterp (*1961.) rođena je u Nizozemskoj, a preddiplomsku razinu studija kompozicije završila je u Temple University, SAD, 2012. godine. Pobijedila je na IAWM natjecanju s kompozicijom “FishingVillage” 2012., i izvodila je sa svojim kvartetom saksofona Winds of Jazz u Philadelphiji i New Yorku. Vratila se u Nizozemsku 2013. gdje je završila magistarski studij iz kompozicije na Konzervatoriju u Utrechtu. Njena djela su izvođena na Fringe Festivalu, u sklopu koncertnih serija Lincoln Centra, kao i na brojnim drugim mjestima: Painted Bride Art Center, World Café Live, DiMenna Center for Classical Music u New York, Geelvinck Museum u Amsterdamu te na Sveučilištu u Utrechtu. Također sudjeluje i u drugim umjetničkim formama, pa je nedavno skladala glazbu uz prikazivanje slika kroz „magičnu lanternu“.

Liselotte Westerterp (1961- *) was born in the Netherlands, and received her Bachelor’s degree in music composition from Temple University, USA, in 2012. She won the IAWM competition for her composition “Fishing Village” in 2012, and performed with her saxophone quartet Winds of Jazz in Philadelphia and New York. She moved back to the Netherlands in 2013 and has since obtained her Master’s degree from the Conservatory of Utrecht. Her works have been performed at the Fringe Festival, the Lincoln Center outdoors concerts series, the Painted Bride, the World Café Live, the DiMenna Center for Classical Music in New York, the Geelvinck Museum in Amsterdam, and the University of Utrecht. She has collaborated with other art forms, and recently composed music for a magic lantern slide show.
